Materials and finishes
Our handles are machined
from very high-quality solid brass. The raw brass is slightly softened and mechanically polished.
-> What will happen over time:
Natural-finish brass is a LIVING MATERIAL. With this finish, our objects will develop a patina over time and through use. The brass darkens and develops a beautiful brown hue, revealing its own character. You can restore its original color at any time using the products we recommend. Outdoors, the brass will patina more quickly and, if desired, require more regular maintenance.
Our powder-coated plates are made of stainless steel.
-> What will happen over time:
The paint covers and protects the metal surface. Do not drop the object on the floor. Do not strike it with another metal object. Do not use harsh products that could damage the paint.

Pose
We recommend dry-fitting the handles first, then marking the holes required to fix the plate.
Remove the assembly, then drill the pilot holes for the screws using a suitable drill bit.
Install the plate with the screws. To avoid damaging the screw heads of the decorative plates, tighten gently with a suitable screwdriver.
Insert the nylon washer between the handle and the decorative plate.
Using the Allen key, tighten the set screw located under the handle into the slotted square on the milled side... The screw will spread the square and ensure a perfect fit.
When tightening, the handles must be firmly pressed against the plate on both sides.
Installation by a skilled professional is recommended.

Care guide
For the handles:
If you prefer the handle to develop its own character, simply clean it with a soft, lint-free cloth and warm soapy water, then dry the item thoroughly.
If you wish to restore the original finish, after removing the item from the door, use a good-quality brass cream, rinse with warm water, wipe thoroughly, then apply a protective brass wax.

For the plates:
Use a damp sponge, and if necessary, one with a little soap.
Rinse, then wipe carefully with a soft cloth.
Do not use harsh products that could damage the paint, such as acetone, trichloroethylene, etc.
