Materials and finishes
The raw brass is polished, it receives a nickel decoration by electrolysis in two successive layers. It is then lightly brushed manually. This varnish-free finish is very resistant both indoors and outdoors. The warm hue of the nickel gives a silver with slightly golden reflections. The button is deliberately left in natural brass.
What will happen over time:
With these finishes, our objects can take on a patina over time and use. Outside, the two materials will acquire a different patina depending on the climate and will require more regular maintenance if desired.

Pose
We recommend fitting the handles “blank” then marking the holes necessary for fixing the plate. Disassemble the assembly then drill the pre-holes for the screws with a suitable drill bit.
Install the plate, with the screws. In order to avoid damaging the head of the screws of the decorative plates, screw gently with a suitable screwdriver.
Insert the nylon washer between the handle and the decorative plate. With the Allen key, screw the grub screw located under the handle on the split square on the countersunk side. The screw will spread the square and allow a perfect fit. When tightening, the handles must be on one side as on the other well pressed against the plate. Installation by a diligent professional is recommended.
Care guide
If you prefer the handle to develop its own character, simply clean with a soft, lint-free cloth and warm soapy water, dry the object well.
If you wish to restore the initial finish, after having disassembled the object of the door, use a cream for metals of good quality, rinse with lukewarm water, dry well.
