Materials and finishes
Our objects are crafted from high-quality solid brass, carefully machined to ensure a perfect finish. The raw brass is subtly softened and mechanically polished, highlighting its natural nuances. This treatment gives it an elegant, slightly aged appearance that will evolve over time, adding a unique patina to each piece. Before shipping, we manually apply a protective wax to preserve the metal's beauty and ensure its durability. Over the years, the brass can be easily maintained to maintain its shine and uniqueness.
What will happen over time:
This is LIVING MATERIAL.
With this finish, our objects will acquire a patina over time and with use. The brass darkens and browns beautifully, developing its own character. You can restore it to its original color at any time with the products we recommend. Outdoors, brass will patina more quickly and will require more regular maintenance if desired.

Pose
We recommend fitting the handles “blank” then marking the holes necessary for fixing the plate. Disassemble the assembly then drill the pre-holes for the screws with a suitable drill bit.
Install the plate, with the screws. In order to avoid damaging the head of the screws of the decorative plates, screw gently with a suitable screwdriver.
Insert the nylon washer between the handle and the decorative plate.
With the Allen key, screw the pointer screw located under the handle on the split square on the countersunk side… The screw will spread the square and allow a perfect fit.
When tightening, the handles must be on one side as on the other well pressed against the plate.
Installation by a diligent professional is recommended.

Care guide
If you prefer the item to develop its own character, simply clean with a soft, lint-free cloth and warm soapy water, then dry the item thoroughly.
If you want to restore the original finish, after removing the door object, use a good quality brass cream, rinse with warm water, dry well and then apply a protective brass wax.
