Materials and finishes
Our knobs are machined from high-quality solid brass. The raw brass is lightly softened and mechanically polished.

Natural finish brass is a LIVING MATERIAL.
With this finish, our objects will acquire a patina over time and with use. The brass darkens and browns beautifully, developing its own character. You can restore it to its original color at any time with the products we recommend. Outdoors, brass will patina more quickly and will require more regular maintenance if desired.

Pose
We recommend positioning the assembly "blank" to check the ideal position on your door. Once the hole for the button is made, install the plate then mark the holes necessary for its fixing. Dismantle the assembly then drill the pre-holes for the screws with the appropriate drill bit. Screws are provided to enable the pre-holes to be tapped and to facilitate final screwing. Install the plate, with the finishing screws. In order to avoid damaging the head of the screws of the decorative plates, screw gently with a suitable screwdriver. Installation by a diligent professional is recommended.
Care guide
If you prefer the button to develop its own character, simply clean with a soft, lint-free cloth and warm soapy water, then dry the item thoroughly.
If you wish to restore the original finish, after removing the object from the door, use a good quality brass cream, rinse with warm water, dry well and then apply a protective brass wax.

Use a damp sponge, possibly soapy,
Rinse and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Do not use harsh products that could damage the paint, such as acetone or trichloroethylene.
