Materials and finishes
Our objects are machined in solid brass of very good quality. The rough machined brass is slightly softened and then mechanically polished. On this set the handles are in Natural finish, a wax protection is applied manually before delivery. The plates are in a black lacquer finish with a satin appearance, this paint is dried in the workshop at 80°C.
What will happen over time:
The handles will take on a patina over time and use.
The brass darkens and browns nicely to develop its own character. You can find its original color at any time with the products we recommend.
On the plates, the paint covers the metal surface and protects it.

Pose
We recommend fitting the handles “blank” then marking the holes necessary for fixing the plate.
Disassemble the assembly then drill the pre-holes for the screws with a suitable drill bit.
Install the plate, with the screws. In order to avoid damaging the head of the screws of the decorative plates, screw gently with a suitable screwdriver.
Insert the nylon washer between the handle and the decorative plate.
With the Allen key, screw the pointer screw located under the handle on the split square on the countersunk side… The screw will spread the square and allow a perfect hold.
When tightening, the handles must be on one side as on the other well pressed against the plate.
Installation by a diligent professional is recommended.

Care guide
For the handles:
If you prefer the handle to develop its own character, simply clean with a soft, lint-free cloth and warm soapy water, dry the object well.
If you wish to regain the initial finish, after dismantling the object of the door, use a good quality brass cream, rinse with lukewarm water, dry well then apply a brass protection wax.

For the plates:
Use a damp and possibly soapy sponge,
Rinse then dry carefully with a soft cloth.
Do not use an aggressive product which could attack the paint, such as acetone, trichlorethylene...

So you will have to pay the customs taxes of your country. They will be requested by the delivery company (UPS).
